 Bob Arganbright : Hideaway Review

By Bob Arganbright
Combat Handguns
December 2001 Page 63

A small frame, short barrel revolver nearly disappears when worn in an inside the pants holster like High Noon Holster's Hideaway. The open top holster, made of rough-side-out cowhide or horsehide, encloses the trigger guard and is wet molded to precisely fit my S&W Chief's Special. An adjustable tension device is placed at the extreme top rear edge of the trigger guard. When the screw is tightened, the synthetic washer grows in diameter, which increases the tension on the weapon. The lip of the holster is reinforced by a leather band that's attached to the belt clip which wraps securely around the bottom edge of a two inch belt. The vertical carry position allows one to position this holster either strong side or crossdraw. The Hideaway has beautifully finished edges and a natural leather color. This is an excellent concealment holster.
